Day 1: Travel to Bukidnon

πŸš™ 06:00AM - Grab to NAIA Terminal 3

✈️ 08:00AM - Flight to Cagayan de Oro via Cebu Pacific

- The cost of the round trip flights was only P2,750 with Cebu Pacific's Super Pass.

- Duration of the flight: 1 hour and 30 minutes (08:00AM to 09:30AM)

I love that Cebu Pacific is now committed to 100% contactless check-in from boarding pass to bag drop.

However, it needs a few minor tweaks to become perfect. It was my 3rd time to try this but it's still not smooth:

1. It takes some time to figure out how to put the sticker into the luggage

2. So many bar/QR codes, you'll get confused which one to scan

3. Minor errors but it worked after repeating the process a couple of times.

Don't worry if it's too confusing, the manual way is still existing if you need help.

🚐 10:00AM - Ride the Van to Agora Terminal

- At the Laguindingan Airport in Cagayan de Oro, take the van just outside of the airport and ask for Agora Terminal.

- Fare: P200

- Duration: 1 hour and 15 minutes (10:00AM - 11:15AM)

- There's a shopping center at the Agora Terminal. You can buy pasalubong here when go home.

- You can also eat lunch here

πŸ₯„ 11:30AM - Lunch at Agora Terminal

🍲 Mr. 8 Fastfood

- Just a few stalls on the right of the Agora shopping center

- Sample Order: Nilagang baka with rice (P140)

🍩 Poppers Doughnut

- In-front of Mr. 8 Fastfood

- 4 doughnuts at P10 to P12 each. Sobrang mura pero masarap!

There are fast food restaurants nearby like Jollibee, Mang Inasal, Chowking, Dunkin, and Mister Donut but better try local.

🚌 12:30PM - Bus to Impasugong Tourism Office and Bus Stop

- You can ride the Super Five bus to Maramag or Rural Tour

- Fare: P140

- Duration: 2 hours

πŸ›΅ 03:00PM - Ride a Tuktuk to Roy's Tulogan

- Fare: P20

- Duration: 5 minutes

πŸ›– Check-in at Roy's Tulogan

They offer a clean and air-conditioned bedroom with bathroom, a chair, and a table. There's also a terrace where you can relax and get fresh air.

They offer 6, 12, and 24 hours of stay. Good for 2 pax but the capacity of the room is up to 5 persons as they can add foams.

For Non Airconditioned Rooms:

P399 - 6 hours

P699 - 12 hours

P999 - 24 hours

For Air-conditioned Room:

P599 - 6 hours

P899 - 12 hours

P1,299 - 24 hours

You may book at +639652261740 or Facebook.

πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ Quick Walk Around Town

You can visit their city hall and if you're lucky, you might witness sea of clouds.

There are also convenient stores, bakeries, and karinderyas if you want to buy snacks or a proper meal but better if you try Cowboy Town.

You can ride a tuktuk for P35 each

πŸ₯„ Cowboy Town

There's a playground at the back of the restaurant.

You can choose to eat indoor or outdoor.

- Sample order: baby back ribs (P415) and red velvet cake (P150)

- It might be a little hard to go back to Roy’s Tulogan as it is located on a highway. You may contact a tuktuk (Kuya Greg: 09550514730) for P50 each or get the number of your current tuktuk.

- Duration: 5 minutes

πŸ›΅ Ride a tuktuk back to Roy's Tulogan

Day 2: Impasugong Tour

⏰ 03:00AM - Wake-up

β˜€οΈ To witness the sea of clouds at Roty Peaks, you need to wake-up around 3AM and eat breakfast at Roy's Tulogan.

β˜• They also serve breakfast but it starts at 6AM so better buy food the night before or you can eat at RotyPeaks

πŸ“± To rent a habal, we highly recommend Kuya Ener (+639353945139) or book with Roy's Tulogan if Kuya Ener is not available

🎟️ P1,200 if solo and P1,800 if 2 persons (Yes, kaya 2 persons!)

πŸ›΅ 4:30AM - Habal to Roty Peaks

🎒 It was one hell of a ride due to the bad weather and the path was very slippery. We actually crashed. πŸ˜†

πŸ›– This is where we planned to stay but the A-frame was fully booked and good thing we didn't push through as it was really hard with the luggages

πŸŽ’ Better use a backpack if you want to stay overnight

🎟️ P200 - entrance fee for the whole day

β˜€οΈ Dry season: March to April

Upon entering Roty Peaks, you'll immediately see pine trees, tent areas, swings, cabin stays, and sari-sari store where you can buy food and drinks.

Camp Area

A-frame kubo (P4,000 for 6 guests), tents (P300 for 2 guests with P450 entrance fee per guest), and camp fire.

A-Frame Kubo

Accommodation with comfortable beds, mini attic, balcony, and a great view.

The A-Frame Kubo can accommodate 6 guests for P4,000.

Kubloy

You can continue walking to the summit to see the best view and another accommodation. It will only take you a minute or two.

Here's the Kubloy at the summit that can accommodate 6 guests for only P4,500. The restroom is facing the ridges. Take a dump with the view.

You can book their accommodations via Facebook and Website.

Go down and go to Communal Ranch

🏞️ 09:00PM - River

Pass by the bridge and river on the way down.

🏞️ 10:00AM - Communal Ranch

πŸ›΅ The road to Communal Ranch is much better compared to Roty Peaks.

✍️ There's a registration in the middle of the ride going there.

🎟️ Entrance fee: P50

🎟️ Environment fee: P20

🐎 They also have horse back riding for P250

Enjoy the ride going there. Go early on a weekday to avoid the crowd.

Communal Ranch is known for its kidney-shaped and mirror-like lake. πŸͺžπŸŒΏ

Did you know that it is also heart-shaped?

🚁 How to angle the drone or camera:

1. From the entrance, walk to the left on the grass area with the cows.

2. Fly the drone from there.

There's also falls if you go outside or ride the horse to go there.

πŸ₯„ Panampulot Kuy!

- A karenderia in-front of the Municipal Hall to try their local lutong bahay.

- Sample order: pork nilaga, pancit, coffee, and rice for P150.

🌳 CEDAR

Photos from The Lost Boys PH (2nd) and Backpacking Philippines (3rd)

- It means Center for Ecological Development And Recreation

- They have a beautiful forest and falls but I decided to skip the falls as I’ve recently visited Tuasan Falls in Camiguin, the side trip of this province.

🏞️ Communal Ranch

The place is free to access and there are carts that sell snacks for lovers. SANAOL.

You can ask Kuya Ener to drop you off to Quadra for dinner.

πŸ₯„ Quadra

Modern kubo style restaurant that serves Pinoy food.

Sample order: garlic shrimp (P250), lechon kawali (P250), and rice (30).

Similar to Cowboy Town, it might be a little hard to go back to Roy’s Tulogan as it is located on a highway. You may contact a tuktuk (Kuya Greg: 09550514730) for P50 each or get the number of your current tuktuk.

Pack your stuff for early checkout tomorrow and buy breakfast at the bakery.

Day 3: Dahilayan and Cagayan de Oro

I highly recommend booking a late flight at 10PM so you can still visit 2 places before going home.

β˜• 05:00AM - Prepare and Eat Breakfast

πŸ›– 06:00AM - Checkout at Roy's Tulogan and Leave Luggages

🌲 08:00AM Dahilayan Adventure Park

Due to the bad weather and itineray adjustments since the Camiguin trip, Dahilayan was cancelled during this visit.

But don't worry! I've been here twice and here are the 3 ways to visit this place:

1. From Roy's Tulogan (Commute)

πŸ›΅ Ride the tuktuk to the bus stop in front of Impasugong Tourism Office

🚌 Ride the bus to Manolo Fortich

πŸ›΅ Habal to Dahilayan

πŸ’΅ Estimated cost: P600 (Back and forth)

2. From Roy's Tulogan (Direct)

πŸ›΅ You can hire Kuya Elmer to drive you there directly

πŸ’΅ Estimated cost: P1,200 (back and forth)

3. From Cagayan de Oro

🚐 You can ride the Magnum Van at Limketkai Mall

πŸ’΅ Estimated cost: P500 (back and forth)

🎒 Ride to try:

P500 - 840-meter zipline

P500 - 120-meter Dropzone

P400 - Razorback Mountain Coaster

🎟️ Dahilayan is a popular place. If you want to skip the long lines, you can book the rides in advance here

πŸ›– They also have a hotel you can book here if you prefer to stay overnight

πŸ₯„ They have a restaurant here where you can eat lunch

πŸ›– 02:00PM - Go back to Roy's Tulogan and Get Luggages

🚌 03:00PM - Bus to Agora Terminal

πŸ›΅ Ride the tuktuk to the bus stop in front of Impasugong Tourism Office

🚌 You can either ride the bus or van whichever comes first. The van is faster in my experience. Lesser stops to pickup passengers.

πŸ’΅ Fare: P150 (1 hour and 30 mins)

Two options from here:

1. If you still have the energy, you can still go to Limketkai Center to eat dinner and buy pasabulong at Missy Bon Bon. You can ride the Magnum Express van transfer to the airport from there.

2. Ride the van to the airport from Agora Terminal.

πŸ₯„ Dinner and Buy Pasalubong at Missy Bon Bon in Limketkai Center

Located right beside Starbucks and Mcdo

Sample order: Cordon Bleu (P285) and Blueberry Chessecake (P159)

- There's also a mall if you want to shop

- Magnum Express is located right in front of the mall's entrance

🚐 Ride Magnum Express to Laguindingan Airport

They have a comfortable lounge with food, drinks, wifi, and TV

- Premium Van: comfortable chairs and high ceiling

- Fare: P199

- Duration: 1 hour

- You can also ride Magnum Express to go to Dahilayan Park in Bukidnon.

✈️ Flight to Manila

- There are food stalls and pasalubong centers at the airport. There's Missy Bon Bon too.

- Duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes
