Day 1: Town Tour

✈️

Flight to Coron's Basuanga Airport

My round trip ticket costed only P5,127

🚐

Van Transfer to Accommodation

I booked my van transfer for P300 (standard rate) here

πŸ›–

Accommodation (Divine Castle Travelers Inn)

I choose this place for 3 reasons:

1. The location is in the heart of Coron Town Center

A few steps away from restaurants, bars, and entrance of Mount Tapyas but not too close that you'll hear the noise of the town proper.

2. They offer rooms with single beds that are perfect for solo travelers

3. Great view at their roofdeck

Features include:

- A view deck showcasing the beautiful view of Coron Town Proper

- Single bed with aircon and TV

- A private bathroom

- A table and wifi for working

- A shared kitchen with utensils

I paid only P700 per night during my one-week stay. Most budget accommodations still charge for two people.

🏞️

Mount Tapyas

- Go at around 4PM so you’ll witness the sunset and it's not too hot when climbing the 700-step stairs

- Don't worry. There are rest areas in between where you can sit under a shed or trees.

- Please bring water or you can buy from the local kids at the summit to help them earn for their education.

Photo from Klook

- I arrived at around lunch time and was initially planning to do a Coron Town Half Day Tour.

- However, due to the non-stop trips from Bantayan and Cebu City, I felt tired and decided to rest until the afternoon.

πŸ₯„

Dinner at Burp Seafood (Chicken BBQ)

I ordered chicken inasal with java rice and vegetables with shake for around P250

😴

Ready your travel essentials and sleep early

Day 2: Super Ultimate Tour

β˜•

Breakfast at Mcdo

🚌

Hotel Pick-up from the Tour

⛰️

Kayangan Lake and View Deck

- While all tourist spots in Coron are beautiful, Kayangan Lake is often considered the highlight for most visitors.

- Hope you can go early, as both the lake and the view deck can get super crowded.

- There’s a 20-minute hike from the jump-off point to the view deck and down to the lake.

⛰️

Barracuda Lake

This lake boasts beautiful underwater rock formations that are perfect for freedivers.

πŸ₯„

Lunch at CYC Beach (Island Beside the Shipwreck)

The guides may prepare budol fight or packed lunch to avoid food poisoning.

🀿

Snorkel at the Shipwreck

⛴️

The shipwreck requires you to dive or freedive especially during high tide

🐠

But that's okay if you don't know how, you can still enjoy feeding the beautiful fish above it

🀿

Snorkel at Coral Garden

🏊

Swim at Twin Lagoon

- Perfect way to end the day

- You can swim around the lagoon or navigate using a kayak.

Super Ultimate Coron Tour is the best way to experience the highlights of Coron in a single day.

However, if I were to do it again and I have more time, I would choose separate tours because you only have 30 to 45 minutes to enjoy a spot.

The guides told me that if you want a more relaxed itinerary, you can split these destinations into Tour A and B.

Tour A: Kayangan Lake, Coral Garden, CYC Beach

Tour B: Barracude Lake, Banul Beach, Skeleton Wreck, Twin Lagoon

πŸ₯„

Dinner at Rendezvous Grill House

- They offer you delicious and fresh seafoods and bacon cut meats for you to grill on your table.

- However, I ordered chicken cordon bleu and mango shake for P300. It looked more delicious.

Day 3: Island Escapade Tour

β˜•

Breakfast at Mcdo

🚌

Pick-up by Tour

🏝️

During the Island Escapade Tour, you'll be exploring 3 white sand and crystal clear beaches.

😌

This is a more relaxed tour

🀿

I saw 9 Nemos. 3 at Bulog Dos and 6 at Banana Island so bring your goggles and snorkel.

🏝️

Bulog Dos

- First stop of the island escapade tour.

- Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the sand and water!

- You can swim and snorkel on the sandbar.

🏝️

Banana Island

- Beautiful sand and water! Same as Bulog Dos!

- This is where you'll eat lunch

- You can swim and snorkel here. I saw 6 Nemos

Photo from Klook

- While exploring the island, you might wonder why it's called Banana Island but you can't find a single banana tree.

- It's the shape of the island from above

🏝️

Malcapuya Island

The last stop and my favorite island of this tour!

🏞️

The highlight of this island is the beautiful view deck

🌊

Just chill on the beach

πŸ₯„

Dinner Poco Deli

- Located in Coron Town Proper and can be easily found on Google Maps

- I order bolognese pasta (P450) and mango shake (P250)

- You can find their menu here

Pick-up by Tour

🦁

Calauit Safari Park

You'll be greeted with an eagle at the registration and you'll ride the park's service to roam around and see all the animals.

First stop is giraffe feeding and often considered the highlight

Just beside the giraffes are the zebras

You'll ride the service again to see the rest.

- Monkeys and civet cats.

- Civet cats are the producers of Luwak or cat poop coffee.

- Civet cats are also nocturnal. It's ironic that they are not morning animals.

- Careful with the monkeys.

- They look innocent and cute but they know how to snatch phones. πŸ˜†

Snakes and crocodiles housed safely.

Turtles and Porcupines

🏝️

Black Island

The highlight here is the cave

The island also has a long beach with white sands and crystal clear water

- One of my favorite snorkeling spots

- I discovered new fish species here

πŸŒ…

Sunset Viewing

This was taken from the jump off of this tour

πŸ₯„

Organiko

- They make home-made burgers
