Pasig River Esplanade Travel Guide
Hi there! 👋 I'm Benj and welcome to another Philippines Travel Guide where I share DIY and budget-friendly guides on how to travel to all 82 provinces of the Philippines!
In this guide, we will be exploring Pasig River Esplanade in Metro Manila.
If you have any questions about this trip, feel free to message me on Facebook. 😍
Things To Do at the Pasig River Esplanade
The Pasig River Esplanade is a blend of culture and modern landscapes, featuring one of the best sunset viewing spots in Metro Manila.
At first, I was skeptical about the idea of visiting this place for the first time, as Pasig River had long been synonymous with being dirty and smelly.
But with constant clean-up efforts over the years, it has transformed into a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the sunset for free.
The fastest way to get here is to book a car via the Grab app or motorcycle hailing app such as MoveIt, Angkas, or JoyRide.
Binondo-Intramuros Bridge

A futuristic tied-arch bridge that connects Binondo and Intramuros, the two major tourist spots in Manila.

I suggest visiting before sunset and wait for the lights during night time.

Food Stalls

While waiting for the lights to turn on, you might want to buy food and drinks.

There are stalls for coffee, fruit shakes, food on sticks, burgers, and handicrafts ranging from P10 to P150. Very cheap!
The bathrooms here are clean so you can indulge on drinks.
Boats Passing by the River

I notice boats passing by the river every few minutes.

Mascots and Busking

Your kids will enjoy interacting and taking photos with their favorite cartoon mascots, while adults will be entertained as they stroll past buskers.
Thanks for reaching this far!
